Nonresident Waterfowl Hunting in Missouri

If you are not a Missouri resident and want to waterfowl hunt in Missouri, your options are a bit more limited, but opportunity still exists!

  • You are welcome to hunt any open-hunting waterfowl area without a reservation at any time during the waterfowl season. These areas can be found in Places to Go. These open-hunting areas are generally not rigorously managed for waterfowl, but they include wetland areas that provide habitat for waterfowl and hold water fed mostly by annual precipitation.
  • Nonresident hunters are also eligible to be awarded hunting spots through the poor line at intensively-managed wetland areas.
