Register by August 24

Date: Tuesday, August 25, 2020 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Location: August A Busch Shooting Range

If you have not duck hunted and want to learn how to get started, this virtual introductory course to duck hunting is designed to get you started. We will cover habitat, biology, migration patterns, blinds, decoys, ammo, chokes, calls, hunting opportunities, and more.

Date: Saturday, September 12, 2020 - 8:00am to 3:00pm

Location: Atlanta CA

This is a dove clinic and hunt put on in partnership with Missouri Disabled Sportsmen. The clinic will cover habitat and biology, as well as wingshooting, and rules and regulations. After the morning clinic, participants will be assisted in the field to try to harvest some birds. Registration is restricted to youth 11-17 and those individuals that are mobility impaired that need assistance in the field. Applicants will be reviewed and notified of eligibility. Firearms and ammunition will be provided to those who need them. Lunch will be provide by Missouri Disabled Sportsmen

Location: Andy Dalton Shooting Range

Join us for this virtual program and learn the basics of hunting the whitetail deer. We will cover scouting, setup, taking the shot and much more.

Date: Friday, October 30, 2020 - 3:00pm to Sunday, November 1, 2020 - 3:00pm

Location: Rest Inn Him Lodge and Retreat Center

This event is a partnership between The Department, The Outdoor Dream Foundation, Missouri Disabled Sportsmen, and Rest Inn Him Lodge. Applicants will be sent formal application paperwork following their registration on this site. Outdoor Dream will review applications, and provided any necessary hunting gear for successful applicants. Rest Inn Him will provide lodging and activities for participants during the weekend. Missouri Disabled Sportsmen will provide funding for meals. The Department will supply track chairs, equipment & supplies, as well as necessary staff. Participants will attend a deer hunting clinic, be taken on a guided deer hunt, and have some time for fishing and other activities around deer camp.

Date: Saturday, November 7, 2020 - 5:00am to Sunday, November 8, 2020 - 1:00pm

Location: Lost Valley Hatchery

This hunt is designed for hunters who have archery hunted for deer in the past, but have been unsuccessful. To be eligible for this hunt you must not have previously filled an Archery Deer Permit .Beginning hunters are also welcome to apply. Virtual Program: This clinic gives families an opportunity to learn about the skills necessary to hunt Rabbits. Topics include safety, rules and regulations, hunting methods, hunting techniques, as well as how to care and process for harvested game.
