Date: Sunday, February 7, 2021 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Location: Virtual

This is a WebEx Virtual program. Join us for an interactive discussion on Crossbows, and hunting with crossbows from the comforts of your home or on your Mobile device. Topics to be discussed are, choosing the right crossbow and bolts. hunting considerations , and safety concerns. Participants can ask questions and watch demonstrations. You must have a valid email, and the ability to receive Web-Ex to participate in this live event.

Date: Monday, February 8, 2021 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Location: Virtual

This virtual clinic is for youth age 11-15 interested in learning the skills needed for upland hunting with the emphasis on the ringneck pheasant, followed by a hunt on Saturday, February 20, 2021. The clinic is mandatory in order to attend the hunt and it is preferred they hunter education certified. Must be comfortable handling a shotgun.

Date: Monday, February 8, 2021 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Location: Virtual

This virtual clinic will teach the basics of upland hunting with emphasis on ringneck pheasants followed by a hunt on Saturday, February 13, 2021. The clinic and hunt is for adults 16 and over, new to hunting, who want to learn to hunt and have never purchased a small game permit. Attendees must be hunter education certified and attend the clinic in order to participate in the hunt and also comfortable handling a shotgun.

Date: Tuesday, February 16, 2021 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Thinking about turkey season is what gets hunters through the dreary months of February and March. Join Conservation Educator Dee Dee Dockins and guest host Protection Lieutenant Mark Reed to get information on what you can do right now to get ready for turkey season. Learn about the life cycle of the turkey, hatch, habitat and most importantly locating turkeys before the season opener. Time will be available at the end of the program for questions.

Date: Wednesday, February 24, 2021 - 3:00pm to 3:45pm

Why do hunters miss that perfect turkey shot at close distances? Conservation Educator Dee Dee Dockins will explain the differences when shooting a shotgun at moving and stationary targets. Understand the concept of point of impact, patterning, gun fit and optics and how to make adjustments to make that shot a success.

Don't ever assume you are the only hunter in the woods. Test your skills through many different hunting scenarios "gone wrong" so you will hunt safely and defensively this season. Conservation Educator Dee Dee Dockins and guest host Protection Captain Russell Duckworth will give you the tools you need to be safe in the field as well as additional considerations when hunting on public land. Time will be reserved at the end of the program for questions.
