Conservation Adults

Attention Campers! Whether you attended all 5 days of Camp, just 1, or anything in between, we would like to invite you to our Camp Hellbender Closing Campfire! Meet behind the St. Louis Regional Office Building at August a Busch Memorial Conservation Area at the fire-pits for Snow Cones, S'mores and reminiscing with your fellow campers and MDC staff. An MDC Conservation Agent will also be there to answer questions and tell stories about the important job that they do for Missourians. We hope to see you all there!

Hiking

Join us for an early morning 5-mile hike at the Marais Temps Clair (MTC) Conservation Area. Birds are most active in the early morning hours. This a great time of the year for a hike to see what lives in the marsh habitat of MTC. Please dress for the weather and bring water, a lunch, and binoculars for bird viewing.

Outdoor Survival

Cant tie a knot so you tie alot? This online event is designed to show you how to tie the 6 most basic knots for the outdoors. We will explain and demonstrate what each knot is used for, and let you have hands on practicing tying each knot.
